We Don’t Talk About Bruno…

We don’t talk about Bruno. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But, let’s talk about BURNOUT!

According to a recent Deloitte survey, almost 80% of employees stated they’ve experienced burnout in the workplace.

There are many causes of burnout that can be presented in the following forms:

👉Overwhelm

👉Feeling unappreciated or unheard

👉Lack of balanced work

👉Lack of efficiency in the work process

👉Lack of celebrating successes

👉Narcissistic bosses

👉Bosses who ignore your strengths

👉Lack of work/life harmony

👉Lack of relationship and connection

👉Values misalignment

👉No connection to mission or vision

👉Lack of growth discussions

👉And more!

Oftentimes, burnout is from a combination of several of the factors above. It is incumbent upon leaders to have discussions about burnout with their employees to ensure they know it is a safe and welcomed topic, and mutually-discover and agree upon solutions to improve the situation.

As an Executive Coach, it is my job to help employees and leaders uncover opportunities for improvement around topics such as burnout and help devise a reasonable plan of action or solution that is in line with the organization’s goals.
