Perspective is Everything…

Our son excitedly showed us the picture he drew of us in school yesterday, pointing at the two disproportionate heads.

OUR SON: “That’s you. And that’s daddy.”

ME: “So I’m the one with the bitty head and big eyes and daddy is the one with the big head and bitty eyes?”

OUR SON: “Yes!”

ME: “It’s fantastic - you really captured us well buddy!”

(There’s nothing like the innocence and the view through the eyes of a child. ❤️)

This picture reminds me…

that our awareness and perspectives shape what we see and the way we lead our lives and the way we lead others.

But think of the true growth that can occur…your potential…

when you invite the perspectives of others into your world.

And not just “Hey what do you think of…”

BUT INSTEAD:

“Tell me more of why you feel strongly about that.”

OR

“What has shaped you to appreciate this the way you do?”

Because diving deep into perspective can foster:

👉Deep understanding

👉Connection

👉Relationships

AND reshape your future to be brighter than you ever imagined.

What do you see, but more importantly, what do you NOT see?!
